Cancellation & Refund Policy
Introduction
CannyCask Limited is committed to treating customers fairly and complying with applicable consumer protection legislation.
This policy explains your rights to cancel a purchase and request a refund.
Statutory Cooling-Off Rights
Consumers may have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase confirmation in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to CannyCask.
How to Cancel
To cancel a purchase, please contact:
Your cancellation request should include:
- your full name;
- your order reference;
- the cask reference; and
- confirmation that you wish to cancel the purchase.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available only where:
- the cancellation request is received within the applicable cooling-off period;
- ownership transfer has not been irrevocably completed; or
- applicable law otherwise requires a refund.
CannyCask reserves the right to request additional information before processing a refund.
Ownership Records & Digital Records
Where ownership records, DDO records or associated digital records have already been created, CannyCask may require those records to be cancelled, reversed or returned before a refund can be completed.
Customers must reasonably cooperate with this process.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed within 14 business days following:
- confirmation of cancellation; and
- completion of any required ownership or record reversal process.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
Non-Refundable Costs
Certain third-party costs may not be refundable where already incurred.
These may include:
- payment processing charges;
- banking fees;
- foreign exchange costs;
- third-party administrative costs; and
- other charges incurred in connection with the transaction.
Where applicable, these costs may be deducted from any refund.
Failed Compliance Checks
CannyCask reserves the right to cancel transactions that fail compliance, identity verification, anti-money laundering or other regulatory requirements.
Where a transaction is cancelled for these reasons, any refund shall be processed in accordance with applicable law and operational requirements.
Exclusions
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing Law
This policy shall be governed by the laws of Scotland.
